This case study highlights ISICO’s school-based vocational training program designed to introduce students to practical skills alongside their academic education. The initiative aimed to prepare students for future career opportunities by equipping them with industry-relevant competencies at an early stage.
The program was implemented in collaboration with schools, where students received training in areas such as basic electronics, computer skills, communication, and entrepreneurship. The curriculum was structured to be engaging, interactive, and aligned with students’ academic schedules.
Hands-on activities, workshops, and project-based learning were key components of the training, allowing students to explore their interests and develop problem-solving abilities. Teachers and trainers worked closely to ensure effective delivery and continuous assessment.
As a result, students gained confidence, improved their practical knowledge, and developed a clearer understanding of various career paths. The initiative also helped reduce the gap between education and employment by fostering skill-based learning from an early age.
