This case study focuses on ISICO’s agriculture skill development program aimed at improving the livelihoods of small and marginal farmers. The initiative introduced modern farming techniques and sustainable practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Farmers were trained in soil health management, organic farming methods, efficient irrigation techniques, and crop diversification. The program also emphasized the use of technology, such as mobile-based agricultural advisory services, to provide real-time guidance.
Through hands-on demonstrations and field visits, farmers gained practical knowledge that could be directly applied to their farms. The initiative also facilitated access to quality seeds, fertilizers, and government schemes.
As a result, participating farmers experienced increased crop yields and improved income levels. Many adopted eco-friendly practices that contributed to long-term soil fertility and environmental sustainability.
