This case study highlights ISICO’s initiative to promote entrepreneurship among youth by providing them with the skills and knowledge required to start and sustain small businesses. The program was designed for individuals who aspired to become self-employed but lacked guidance and resources.
Participants underwent training in business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, and customer relations. The program also included workshops on identifying market opportunities and managing risks effectively.
Mentorship played a key role in this initiative, with experienced professionals guiding participants through the process of launching their ventures. Additionally, support was provided in accessing small business loans and connecting with local markets.
As a result, many participants successfully started their own businesses such as retail shops, service centers, and home-based enterprises. The initiative not only generated income opportunities but also contributed to local economic development.
This case study demonstrates how structured entrepreneurship programs can empower youth to become job creators rather than job seekers. ISICO continues to foster innovation and self-reliance through such impactful initiatives.
